SHIPPING POLICY

At Antwerp Gas Depot BV, we do our best to deliver orders correctly, safely, and within a reasonable time. Because we offer both products that can be shipped by post and gas cylinders, different delivery conditions apply depending on the type of product.

1. General

This shipping policy applies to all orders placed through our website or webshop, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Products That Can Be Shipped by Post

Products such as burners, grills, patio heaters, and other accessories that are suitable for shipment by post or courier can be delivered in Belgium and, where available, in other countries within the European Union.

These products are shipped via an external transport or courier service.

We aim to process orders as quickly as possible after receipt of payment. Stated delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on:
- product availability
- workload
- destination
- transport service
- force majeure or unforeseen circumstances

3. Delivery Area for Gas Cylinders

Gas cylinders and other products subject to specific safety, transport, or sector-specific conditions are not shipped via standard postal or courier services where this is not possible, safe, or legally permitted.

Delivery of gas cylinders via Antwerp Gas Depot BV’s own transport takes place exclusively in Flanders, Belgium, within the regions we serve.

We reserve the right to refuse deliveries outside these regions or to propose a separate arrangement where this is operationally possible.

4. Delivery Costs

Any shipping or delivery costs are communicated during checkout, unless stated otherwise.

Different delivery charges or additional transport costs may apply for certain products, volumes, dimensions, weights, or delivery locations. If necessary, we will contact you about this before the order is definitively carried out.

5. Delivery Time

We carry out deliveries within the period communicated at the time of the order. If no specific period has been agreed, delivery will take place no later than within 30 days after the conclusion of the agreement, except in cases of force majeure or other legally accepted exceptions.

6. Presence at Delivery

For certain deliveries, and in particular for gas cylinders and other products that must be handed over safely, it may be necessary for the customer or an authorized person to be present at the delivery address.

If delivery is not possible due to absence, inaccessibility of the address, incorrect address details, or any other cause beyond our control, additional costs may be charged for a new delivery.

7. Inspection Upon Receipt

We ask the customer to inspect the goods immediately upon receipt.

If an order has been delivered damaged, incomplete, or incorrectly, the customer must report this as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours of receipt via info@antwerpgasdepot.be or by phone at +32 3 324 33 76.

If possible, please include the following information:
- name
- order number or invoice number
- description of the problem
- clear photos of the product and packaging

8. Risk and Ownership

For consumers, the risk of loss or damage to the goods passes at the moment the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer who is not the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.

Different rules may apply to professional customers in accordance with the applicable agreement or invoice terms.

9. Delays

We make reasonable efforts to deliver orders on time, but cannot provide an absolute guarantee of exact delivery times unless this has been expressly confirmed in writing.

Delays caused by carriers, force majeure, weather conditions, traffic situations, safety reasons, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control do not automatically entitle the customer to compensation.

10. Incorrect Address Details

The customer is responsible for correctly entering the delivery address and contact details.

Antwerp Gas Depot BV is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

11. Safety and Refusal of Delivery

Antwerp Gas Depot BV reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or cancel a delivery if:
- the delivery cannot be carried out safely
- legal or logistical conditions are not met
- the product cannot be handed over correctly or responsibly
- there is reasonable doubt about unsafe use or unsafe storage

This applies in particular to gas cylinders and other products subject to specific safety regulations.

12. B2B

Different delivery conditions may apply to professional customers, depending on the nature of the order, the delivery frequency, the contractual arrangements, and the applicable supplier terms.
