Our team
Our team consists of 4 drivers: Filip, Michael, Anthony, and Jordan. Together with manager Sven, accountant Karen, and all-round employee Jorn, they form the familiar face of Antwerp Gas Depot.
With their experience, dedication, and personal approach, they are ready every day to assist customers correctly and professionally.
Our Story
Antwerp Gas Depot was founded in Merksem in 1914 by Eugene Van Damme . What began as a small enterprise grew under subsequent generations into an established name in the sector.
Over the years, the company expanded its activities from fuels to butane, propane, and later a full range of gases. Since 1997 , the assortment has been further supplemented with materials, heating products, and outdoor gas cylinders, and the customer base has also grown in the industrial , food , and medical sectors, among others.
Today, the third generation of the Van Damme family is at the helm, and Antwerp Gas Depot continues to build on a strong foundation of know-how, experience, and service.
Our vehicles & service
With 3 modern Scania trucks, each equipped with a muff for loading and unloading at the customer's site, Antwerp Gas Depot has a strong and flexible delivery service.
In addition, we deploy a delivery van for hard-to-reach locations, such as the historic center of Antwerp. At our depot, 2 forklifts contribute daily to smooth and efficient operations.
